BLESSED BY STIIIZY USES NEW PRODUCT PROCEEDS TO BENEFIT DOWNTOWN WOMEN’S CENTER
Introducing a new strain and new cause that STIIIZY is proud to support in celebration of 4 years — a cause chosen by consumers.
In celebration of STIIIZY’s 4th birthday, we are proud to introduce our newest BLESSED by STIIIZY product: BLESSED CDT! The new Ice Cream Mintz strain is an Indica strain and will be available in both half gram and full gram pods. Through BLESSED, portions of the proceeds from this drop will be donated to the Downtown Women’s Center in Skid Row to provide “Welcome Home Kits'' for women transitioning into permanent housing — a cause chosen directly by our consumers.
Our team received a mountain of responses from our Customer Choice Campaign that we hosted, where we asked our followers and enthusiasts on social media which cause BLESSED by STIIIZY should support next.
The responses from our customers and followers only echoes the honest and good nature of their hearts, with responses ranging from animal rights and environmental issues, to supporting children & their families affected by Autism. It was difficult to narrow it down, but the most popular cause chosen directly by our customers was to support women and their families that have survived domestic abuse.
For this cause, we connected with our friends at the Downtown Women’s Center located in Skid Row, just a few blocks away from our flagship STIIIZY DTLA location. Our donation, made possible through the proceeds from the sale of the new BLESSED CDT pods, was 60 “Welcome Home Kits'' for women transitioning into permanent housing. Each kit contained items that promote mindfulness and relaxation, as well as spa-inspired items ranging from personal journals, calming tea and mug sets, aromatherapy, spa slippers, robes, towels and foaming bath soaks.
These items may seem obscure to others, but their intention is crystal clear: to restore dignity that was stolen as well as promote healthy habits that help reduce stress while providing a much needed acknowledgment that someone cares and sees these women.
The Downtown Women’s Center is the only organization in Los Angeles focused exclusively on serving and empowering women experiencing homelessness and formerly homeless women. When women flee domestic abuse, they are often forced to leave their homes, with nowhere else to turn. Here in Los Angeles, domestic violence is the number one cause of homelessness for women. A terrible and incessant cycle that the Downtown Women’s Center is working to end.
As STIIIZY celebrates its 4 year anniversary, customers can expect more exclusive drops as the month progresses.
